    Trey Caples, Tier 3

    FREE!

Join Trey Caples - school psychologist, community program developer, and accidental program evaluator - for a test drive of his organization's formative assessment dashboard in use across multiple schools and shelters in Mexico. This bottom-up, field-driven approach to evaluation starts with building highly interactive dashboards useful for daily program staff, then layering aggregate functionality for program leadership & development staff to answer "bigger" questions. The core of this approach uses traditional education/school psychology assessment that program staff find useful, then expanding this functionality - and the end user base - through data analysis and visualization tools. The end goal is a precise and timely tool that serves everyone at the same time, giving each team member what they need and when they need it, without feeling like they're having to do "something extra" to please external stakeholders.

    About the Speaker

Trey Caples is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and Education Specialist (Ed.S.) with advanced training in behavioral and educational intervention, from the individual to systems level. Trey has over two decades of senior leadership experience in and with schools, nonprofits, and community organizations, both nationally and internationally. He has extensive experience with program design and management, program evaluation, data management and analytics, fundraising and grant writing, board development, and staff training and leadership. Trey currently serves as the director of Tier 3, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that collaborates with other youth-serving organizations to help build psychosocial and educational support programs. He is currently based in Mexico, helping launch a collaboration between several public schools, arts centers, and youth organizations to provide and connect services to youth in a high-risk neighborhood.
