LUNCH BREAK!

Allies, Accomplices, & Co-Conspirators:  Working in Solidarity with Marginalized Populations

Thursday, September 15th

11:30am - 1:00pm via Zoom

Please join us for a discussion of the continuum of action in dismantling systems of oppression.  This lunch break will center around a very brief reading found here:

https://aninjusticemag.com/the-differences-between-allies-accomplices-co-conspirators-may-surprise-you-d3fc7fe29c

Implications for evaluation will be discussed.

Join us via Zoom:

Discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Nancy Hood, Director of Research and Evaluation, Project Echo®, University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center and NME Past President.

Questions to think about ahead of time:

  • What actions would allies, accomplices, and co-conspirators take in evaluation?
  • Where do you currently fall along this continuum?
  • What might you do differently after reading this article?
  • How does this reading change or reinforce your understanding of allyship?

* For those of you interested in further learning, this short video clip and reading may be of interest.  These are optional resources but may complement the reading that will be discussed.
