What if we had a comprehensive framework for standard setting that would help us arrive at defensible and useful standards instead? In this workshop the Warranted Standards Approach is presented, designed to help evaluators with decision making and writing about standards. Along the way, a clear, new definition of standards is offered, as are examples of how to arrive at such standards. About the Speaker Anthony Clairmont is an evaluator with a background in social sciences who primarily evaluates human services programs (mental health, housing access, and jobs), as well as public spaces (libraries, museums, and city halls). He is the author of the Program Evaluation newsletter on Substack and chair of the Quantitative Methods TIG at AEA. We hope to see you on March 16th!
