About me
I joined the New Mexico Department of Health in 2014 as the bureau evaluator for Environmental Health Epidemiology, working with CDC-funded programs engaging stakeholders and presenting evaluation findings to a range of audiences. In April 2016 I moved to NMDOHâs Overdose Prevention Section, where I led a 3 person evaluation team and am now head of the section. Previous positions include college and university teaching, work at county and regional health departments, and in drug regulatory affairs as a consultant. My first health-related position was at the Duke AIDS Research and Treatment Center, where I volunteered and worked part-time while completing my doctorate.
