About me
I am currently the Evaluation Section Manager for the Injury and Behavioral Epidemiology Bureau at the New Mexico Department of Health, where I started in 2014 as bureau evaluator for Environmental Health Epidemiology, working with CDC-funded programs. In 2016 I moved to NMDOHâs Overdose Prevention Section, where I led the evaluation team in completing program and policy evaluations, and later served as section head. Previous positions include college and university teaching, work at county and regional health departments, and in drug regulatory affairs as a consultant. My first health-related position was at the Duke AIDS Research and Treatment Center, where I volunteered and worked part-time while completing my doctorate.
